This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard YARD, Planning, Estimating, Scheduling and Business Management (PES/BM) Division Supply Branch of the Industrial Department in Baltimore, Maryland.
Duties
The employee manages inventories that are requirements driven and linked to planned work. Manages government inventories and supports contractor owned inventories (including GSA 4PL). The employee will use a credit card to purchase project materials and decide when to buy and how to organize project materials.

- Must Obtain & Maintain Certification of DHS COR Level II (Services)
- Must Complete Industrial Project Management System Training
Qualifications
QUALIFY FOR GS-11: Applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience for this position is defined as:
-Experience performing supply data management including supply planning, acquisition, storage, issue, utilization, and disposal of equipment and material.
-Knowledge of specialized methods and techniques used to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and/or operations.
-Knowledge of the relations of procurement and budget considerations; automated systems and files; provisioning; transportation; storage; cataloging; maintenance; repair and disposal in order to perform material management processes.
Candidates may also qualify at the GS-11 level based on the following education requirements:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree,
OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M, if in a related field such as supply, logistics, or material management.
