You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT/OA) in the OCHR STENNIS OPERATIONS CENTER.

Duties
You will review data in a human resources information system for completeness and accuracy.
You will update customers on the status of requested information.
You will process personnel actions in a human resources information system (e.g., Defense Civilian Personnel Data System [DCPDS] or similar system).
You will enter and maintain data in personnel records.
You will research processing discrepancies, errors and apply corrective action.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-06 Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processing a wide variety of nonstandard personnel action requests using automated human resources systems; 2) Utilizing automated processing guides, procedures and data elements to enter and correct personnel data errors; 3) Maintaining human resources files including personnel records and suspense reports; and 4) Verifying the accuracy of information for the proper use of regulatory authorities and remarks for processing personnel actions.
GS-05 Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using automated human resources programs to create documents and spreadsheets; 2) Reviewing documents for completeness and compliance with regulations; 3) Performing administrative human resources support functions such as processing personnel actions, utilizing automated human resources action processing systems, and maintaining files.

GS-06 Level
- There is no education substitution for the GS-06 level.
GS-05 Level
- Four (4) years above high school.
