About the Position: This position is located with US ARMY GARRISON, CARLISLE BARRACKS DIRECTORATE OF HUMAN RESOURCES (DHR) MILITARY PERSONNEL SVCS DIV.
Duties
Manage military personnel actions to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
Maintain records for military personnel assigned or attached to the unit.
Operate automated systems in order to support military personnel operations.
Serve as a Passport Acceptance Agent in order to manage employee owned U.S. passports.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Assisting personnel in the application of identification documents, 2) Maintaining records for assigned military personnel, AND 3) Entering data in automated personnel systems for use in correspondence or reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
