You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH) in the Enterprise Services of the ACIO/Information Technology Division of the Corporate Operations Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.
The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will plan, design, and implement cybersecurity systems and solutions for the NSWC Crane enterprise.
You will consult with customers and stakeholders to evaluate functional requirements and translate requirements into technical solutions.
You will develop enterprise architecture or system components required to meet user needs.
You will analyze user needs and requirements to plan architecture.
You will identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
You will ensure acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with organization's cybersecurity architecture
guidelines.
You will analyze candidate architectures, allocate security services, and select security mechanisms.
You will plan implementation strategy to ensure enterprise components can be integrated and aligned.
You will capture and integrate essential networks and system capabilities or business functions required for partial or full system restoration after a catastrophic failure event.
You will document how the implementation of a new system or new interface between systems impacts the current and target environment but not limited to security posture.
You will Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
You will translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
You will evaluate security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response to requirements contained in acquisition documents.
You will integrate key management functions as related to cyberspace.
You will provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation (e.g. system life-cycle support plans, concept of operations, operational procedures, and maintaining training materials).
You will conduct risk analysis, feasibility study, and/or trade-off analysis to develop, document, and refine functional requirements and specifications.
You will implement new system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
You will Integrate new cybersecurity tools and solutions into existing network architecture to provide proactive and reactive capabilities to ensure NSWC Crane networks are secure.
You will provide feedback on cybersecurity requirements, including network architecture and infrastructure.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 652, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11-12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating cybersecurity principles and requirements to plan, design, and implement enterprise architecture or system components for ensuring user needs are met. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
