As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overall project management of the most politically sensitive and complex Prospectus level projects.Location of position: Region 9 Pacific Rim Region, Design and Construction Division, San Francisco, CA.At this time we are only filling one vacancy, however additional vacancies may be filled from this announcement as needed.
Duties
Project Plan Development: Directs and leads development of comprehensive and detailed project plans including methodology, resource requirements, timelines, priorities and budget impact. Directs and performs budget planning and execution to support each step in development. Exercises full responsibility for the administration and management of the entire project including the direction and control of project planning, programming, budgeting, site selection and acquisition, appraisal, design and construction, contract evaluation, technical contract administration etc. Participates with key client agency personnel who are responsible for defining the goals of a project, and works with them to prepare a master plan for accomplishing such goals. Responsible for client communication and client satisfaction.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience applying advanced concepts, practices, and methodologies of project management to service large, complex new construction, modernization and/or lease construction projects. Such experience must reflect experience performing planning, scheduling budgeting, estimating, cost analysis and control, tracking, reporting and forecasting for such projects.
