Duties

Plans weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates. Establishes deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedules and methods and policies established by higher levels of supervision. Selects workers and assigns tasks to be performed. Explains work requirements, methods, and procedures; instructs subordinates in new procedures; and provides advice when problems arise. Develops performance standards, counsel employees on performance, and makes formal and informal performance appraisals. Maintains production reports and records.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to possess and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License Class A with a Hazardous Material endorsement.
  • This position requires pre-employment and annual physicals.
  • This position requires an Arms, Ammunition and Explosives (AA and E) Security Certification/Screening in accordance AR 190-11.

Qualifications

About the Position: This position serves as a Motor Vehicle Operator Supervisor assigning tasks to be performed, demonstrating proper work methods, and ensuring all equipment, plans, materials and tools are available. Also ensures all personnel, materials and equipment required for operations are at the designated work site. Performs performance management for all employees within the assigned organization.
