You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the G-3 Operations and Training, Training and Evaluations Branch of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
Duties
You will serve as a subject matter expert in the area of platform instruction, curriculum development and implementation.
You will plan and conduct needs analysis establishment and/or develop a course.
You will develop listings of the duties, tasks, and elements necessary to perform the job through statistical analysis.
You will determine the learning objectives and task learning relationships, cluster learning events, and organize course content.
You will initiate, plan and organize the work, determine possible sources of information, and conduct fact-finding.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. with experience in platform instruction; curriculum development and implementation; instructional design, development, and evaluation of full-length programs of instruction.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
- I have successfully completed master's or equivalent graduate degree or
- I have successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or

- I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
