You will serve as a REGIONAL DEPLOYABILITY COORDINATOR in the WORK FORCE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of COMMANDER SUBMARINE SQUADRON ELEVEN. SALARY: Pearl Harbor, HI: $90,662 - $117,856 Bremerton, WA: $97,376 - $126,585 San Diego, CA: $99,044 - $128,752

Duties

You will plan, coordinate and advise on proposed strategic actions supporting the integration of Limited Duty/Disability Evaluation System (LIMDU/DES) distribution solutions and manages LIMDU/DES manning actions. You will provide technical guidance, identify deficiencies, and develop/recommend corrective actions to mitigate the deficiencies identified during analysis. You will conducts research and special study projects to resolve problems, change procedures or evaluate concepts. You will recommend command wide LIMDU/DES distribution strategies, provides primary representation of LIMDU/DES personnel issues. You will ensure all subordinate commands comply with all requirements regarding the management of nondeployable personnel.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, planning, and overseeing Limited Duty (LIMDU) and Disability Evaluation System (DES) (LIMDU/DES) program to develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration of the program or developing criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the program.
