You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (Equipment, Quality & Calibration Manager) in the EOD DEPARTMENT DEPUTY AND STAFF OFFICE of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354).
NT-4: $75,329 - $128,956
NT-5: $99,200 - $153,354
Duties
You will serve as a liaison to the Property Management Office coordinating and providing support in relation to Property Management Functions and Government Furnished Property Functions.
You will research, review, and reconstruct transactions to isolate errors and provide guidance to correct deficiencies.
You will lead container inspection, inventory, and maintenance of Plant Property and Equipment.
You will track and maintain Plant Property and Equipment throughout its life cycle.
You will collect, analyze and evaluate data, and provide recommendations to acquire and dispose Plant Property and Equipment while maintaining accuracy
of Plant Property and Equipment data and resolving discrepancies.
You will issuing recall and past due notices every month to all divisions with equipment requiring calibration.
You will schedule on site calibration for equipment that cannot be sent out for calibration.
You will maintain required documentation in support of lab certifications and working with outside entities during inspections.
You will be required to track NMCI assets and maintain a floater pool of computers.
You will oversee assets and equipment within Nayy ERP.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Work requires the ability to climb, stoop, bend and pick-up/move electronic equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
NT-4: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 (GS-9/10 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing established inventory management operations (e.g. acquiring, tracking, maintaining and/or disposing Plant Property & Equipment (PP&E)) to support property management, calibration or quality control functions that are in compliance with program requirements.
NT-5: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing or implementing inventory management operation (i.e. acquiring, tracking, maintaining and disposing Plant Property & Equipment (PP&E)) procedures and practices to monitor and resolve technical data discrepancies for the efficiency and productivity of supply systems or programs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify for the
NT-4 with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
