You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst in the Aviation Supply Branch (ASB) of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will provide leadership in overseeing daily operations in the aviation supply support environment.
You will direct aviation supply operations, provide aviation supply support services to fleet customers, transient customers, and program offices.
You will analyze all aspects of the Aviation Support Branch operations to determine quantitative and qualitative standards of effectiveness.
You will perform ongoing studies of internal process and procedures and take appropriate action based on findings.
You will communicate with customers to understand customer needs, area of improvement, and collaborate to implement corrective actions.
You will provide administrative guidance and advice, plan work to be accomplished by subordinates and set short-term goals.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Systems Analyst experience to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of inventory, logistics, supply chain management and knowledge of aviation supply operations management policies, concepts, practices, and principles in order to analyze and develop solutions for problems to ensure continued effective support is provided to fleet customers, transient customers and program offices. I have experience analyzing and researching various automated supply systems to improve quality and performance of the supply program by ensuring completion of supply work and reports such as stock-in-transit (SIT), NALCOMIS/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) reconciliation reports, and other reports are validated and completed within the specified time frame. I establish and maintain consistent communication such as recurring meetings, conferences, and discussions with internal and external stakeholders regarding supply operations. I have experience planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, set, and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Specialized Experience may include the following: 1) Participating in supply chain management studies, identifying deficiencies in performance, and recommending changes for correction; 2) Communicating with customers to understand customer-needs, areas of improvement, and collaborates to implement corrective actions; 3) Providing analysis to develop strategies and procedures to improve the Supply Chain processes effectiveness; 4) Interpreting various supply chain policies, and regulations to recommend improvements; and 5) Ensures command and Department goals, policies and priorities are communicated to team members with promoting equal opportunity employment.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
