You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Supply Chain Management Branch, Public Works Department, of NAVFAC SW, China Lake, CA.
Duties
You will determine operational support and analysis for supply business processes (e.g., planning and forecasting, allowance development, financial and repairable, procurement, order fulfillment, production support).
You will monitor financial or inventory reports for accuracy.
You will attend meetings and briefings to assist in providing information on the status of supplies and materials.
You will allocate resources (e.g., funds, manpower, facility, space) to execute program operations.
You will draft inquiries and replies on supply status and availability to ensure venders and customers are able to meet timelines.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising others on supply, purchasing, and acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; 2) Ensuring others properly abide by government purchase card laws, processes, and procedures, including the Prompt Pay Act; 3) Inspiring, guiding, and motivating others towards meeting an organization's supply goals; 4) Advising others on supply, purchasing, and acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; and 5) Tracking, allocating, ordering inventory and executing all supply operations for delivery.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
You must have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree
OR
Successfully obtained an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
