About the Position: Serves as a full deputy to the 11th Airborne Division G-3, with primary responsibility for division G-3 support of plans, operations, and exercises; operations security; anti-terrorism; force protection; training to include range operations; intelligence and security; force modernization; training support center; mobilization; battle simulation; AND program management.

Duties

Provides advice to other staff offices and subordinate commanders on management of tactical mission operations for which they are responsible. Reports to the Commanding General through the Chief of Staff on all matters having command-wide impact on operations in the accomplishment of the division programs. Manages a work force totaling 152 military and civilian personnel and manages a budget of $21 million dollars annually. Serves as coordinator for actions involving other division/installation staff sections. Performs the full range of supervisory and managerial responsibilities, either individually or through subordinate supervisors.
