Duties
Serves as a Financial Management Analyst for Army Futures Command (AFC) Directorate of Integration (DOI).
Leading initiatives to ensure resourcing required for effective integration of requirements into the Army’s modernization efforts.
Monitors financial and accountant assignments for all aspects and interfaces with Financial Operations, all Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDTE)
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position.
- This position requires a Secret Clearance.
- Employee may be subject to emergency Overtime, Shift Work which can include evenings, weekends and Holidays.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) utilizing integrated federal financial management systems, (2) resolving critical financial/ budget issues, (3) providing business analytics to forecast and defend dollars and manpower requirements, (AND) (4) Identifying and leveraging unique fund opportunities to fund emerging requirements (e.g innovation funds and competitive funding opportunities) This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-3/GS-13)
