About the Position:The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance.
Duties
Use Logistics Modernization Program to execute daily, weekly and monthly workload schedules considering status of work in progress, priorities, special projects, availability of materials, equipment, man-hours and technical data requirements.
Use Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Complex Assembly Manufacturing Solution (CAMS) to monitors status of WIP quantity, man-hours and cost in order to detect delays, identify the cause of delays, and recommend corrective actions
Gather information regarding supplies, materials, equipment, manpower, and facilities requirements for potential or planned workload.
Initiates and coordinates actions required for changing information used in the provisioning of materials based on Depot Overhaul Factors (DOFs), upgraded priorities, quantity changes, program changes, or availability of repairable assets.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a personnel security background check (Tier 3 – Noncritical-Sensitive (NCS)/Moderate Risk).
- Must be willing to undergo a physical examination initially, and annually thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test screening, and random testing thereafter. Incumbents must be certified for handling of ordnance which places this position under the Civilian Drug Testing Program.
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Must obtain and maintain a government license in order to operate material handling equipment.
- This position may be subject to a one-year probationary period.
- Must be willing to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) up to 5% of the time.
- Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift positions.

Specialized Experience GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Coordinating material and supplies in a production facility; 2) Identifying workload and manpower shortages/overages and discuss possible solutions with appropriate personnel; and 3) Utilizing automated systems [Examples: Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), and Complex Assembly Manufacturing Solution (CAMS)]. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
