About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training support.

Duties

Prepare workload schedules to evaluate status of work in progress priorities, and special projects, availability of materials, equipment, man-hours and technical data requirements. Review production discrepancy reports and workload schedule listings as received from automated information maintenance system to initiate corrective action. Review and analyze computer products in regard to end-item status and production operations to collect data for analysis. Establish and adjust priorities, schedules, and deadlines for work assignments. Ensure work assignments of subordinates are carried out, considering status of work, priorities, special projects and capabilities of employees. Facilitate cooperation and motivate team members to develop and accomplish group goals and production workload to meet command schedule.

Requirements

  • Required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08). Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ComplianceComputer SkillsPlanning and EvaluatingWorkforce Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
