You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT MECHANIC in the UTILITIES BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE.

Duties

You will perform maintenance and repair to all utility plan equipment and auxiliaries. You will repair, test, and install automatic switches, float controllers, electronic timers, and install automatic controlling equipment. You will diagnose entire systems in order to repair system sub-units. You will perform preventative maintenance on equipment. You will reassemble, install, and align equipment, connect and disconnect power sources, perform operational and functional tests.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
