You will serve as an Operations Research Analyst in the Data and Analytics, Code 0537 of OFFICE OF NAVAL RESEARCH.
Duties
You will prioritize efforts to address business processes, datasets, date reporting and analysis and visualization tools.
You will ensure ONR data is available, reliable, consistent, accessible, secure and timely to support the mission.
You will serve as a technical expert for ONR on the development and procurement of advanced data governance, records, knowledge management, and analytic capabilities.
You will determine how the organization captures, maintains and presents data.
You will develop a thorough understanding of the business, design supporting data strategies and systems.
You will lead, motivate and manage technical teams.
Requirements

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/13 grade level or pay band (NP-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1.) Prioritizing efforts to address business processes, datasets, data reporting and analysis & visualization tools; 2.) Providing the vision for business-wide data activities and champions for data stewardship, standardization, accessibility; 3.) Determining how the organization captures, maintains and presents data; 4.) Conducting problem identification and requirements development related to data reporting and analytics; and 5.) Overseeing the collection, procurement, storage, management, quality, and protection of data.

Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess:
Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
