You will serve as a CONFIGURATION AND DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS PRODUCT DATA DIVISION, AVIATION READINESS & RESOURCE ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will provide Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) for assigned projects to include hardware and software configurations. You will maintain databases to track a variety of metrics to assess, compare, and track specific configuration managed products. You will provide recommendations for Configuration/Data Management process improvement. You will develop Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs),

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Utilizing configuration management policies, regulations, procedures; 2) Assisting in developing a configuration management plan detailing hardware and software management; 3) Reviewing software deliveries against software change documentation; 4) Understanding hardware drawings and ensuring that drawings accurately reflect the hardware; and 5) Using Microsoft products and the Jira Agile Project Management tool.
