This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS), Planning, Management and Budget Unit.
Duties
Collaborates with staff to gather and develop content and manage stakeholder outreach for input on planning and strategy communication to internal and external entities.
Oversees the development of corrective actions to address audit and inspection issues, ensuring their integration with other organization business processes, including budget formulation, solicitation forecasting, peer review, and administrative procedures.
Evaluates the organizational structure, the organization's statistical business process model, workforce development model, strategic plans, and budget materials to ensure optimal organization and distribution of work for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinates with staff to facilitate the conversion of administrative applications and provides administrative support for contracted operations.
Continuously researches and stays informed about new or improved business and management practices, advising management on their potential adoption and implementation.
Develops, coordinates, and represents management initiatives, including those related to performance measurement, strategic planning, workforce development and business process improvement.
Initiates and leads studies and projects related to strategic planning and analysis, including development of methods for measuring program success and achievement of objectives.
Undertakes or participates in special projects, ongoing analyses, investigations and initiatives that have priority for high-level management of projects that identify and resolve complex issues related to the organization's mission, goals, and funding priorities.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
GS-12:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include:
Participating in studies and projects related to strategic planning and analysis, including development of methods for measuring program success and achievement of objectives;
Conducting projects related to performance measurement, strategic planning, workforce development and/or business process improvement;
Evaluating audit and inspection activities and recommends corrective actions to address audit and inspection issues, ensuring their integration with other organization business processes;
Supporting the evaluation of program effectiveness and organizational productivity and makes
recommendations for improvement.
GS-13:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
