You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING DEPT (CODE 530) of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties
You will participate in the analysis and evaluation of existing administrative operational and support processes and procedures within the division.
You will support utilizing data and/or knowledge of support systems capabilities and how they integrate with other work functions to formulate both a tactical and strategic approach to increase the productivity within the division.
You will assist with administering the timekeeping program; ensure personnel have entered time into Navy ERP and supervisors approve recorded time within prescribed time frames.
You will prepare travel arrangements for personnel; review travel documents (e.g., vouchers, compensation time requests, etc.) to ensure accuracy; maintain and update Division personnel information.
You will train and provide guidance to Branch Assistants within the Division and will oversee their work to ensure that office procedures are consistently understood and followed.
You will develop and execute administrative improvement plans, tracks critical path, and troubleshoots arising problems with minimal involvement of leadership.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
NO-03:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band NO-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing a variety of clerical tasks, plan, prioritize and organize work and to engage, interact and effectively communicate with employees and leaders at all work levels. Demonstrated knowledge of administrative guidelines, process and procedures, an understanding of NERP, Defense Travel System (DTS), and Government Purchase Card Program.
NO-02:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band NO-01 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing a variety of clerical tasks, planning, prioritizing and organizing work. Demonstrated knowledge of administrative guidelines, process and procedures, an understanding of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), and Defense Travel System (DTS).

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
or
1 full year of graduate level education
or
superior academic achievement
NO-03:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
