You will serve as a Supervisor in the LOGISTICS & TRAINING DEPARTMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties
You will perform supervisory duties to manage a Branch of 20-30 personnel responsible for acquisition and sustainment logistics products and service to various Sponsors internal and external to NIWC PAC.
You will perform tasks include planning, coordinating, evaluating, directing Logistical actions and developing Logistics requirements for the Acquisition Life Cycle of Navy systems from initial acquisition through sustainment.
You will perform functions related to operational fleet logistics readiness support functions at NIWC Pacific and in the Fleet Installation, Engineering and Logistics Department, Code 40.
You will provide administrative and technical supervision to Civilian employees including: logistics specialists, Information Technology (IT) specialists, contract specialists, and administrative personnel assigned.
You will establish work objectives and evaluates work of subordinates, exercises full authority as a member of the recommends ratings, awards, and promotions IAW with guidelines and requirements.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight. Managing training and Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) processes, procedures and resources; providing resolution to training and ILS problems associated with Logistics & Life Cycle Support; providing general oversight and/or mentoring to logistics management specialists.
