Duties
Serve as JPMRC 196th BDE Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist responsible for determining knowledge management needs supporting the mission, vision, and goals.
Perform a variety of technical work supporting JPMRC 196th BDE knowledge management that involves liaison responsibilities between the organization and technical staff.
Responsible for developing creative and innovative technological ways to improve JPMRC 196th KM.
Serve as the primary advocate and advisor for the organization on KM requirements, introducing business transformation processes, developing and implementing policy and program guidance.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a "Secret" security
clearance for the duration of employment.
- TDY Travel required up to approximately 25 - 50% of the total duty time.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing long-range plans and objectives for administering a knowledge management (KM) program; and evaluating the effectiveness of a knowledge management (KM) program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
