You will serve as a LEAD HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) in the OFFICER ACCESSIONS AND PROMOTIONS BRANCH (PERS-806) of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.

Duties

You will develop military personnel action procedures based on new regulations You will use data from multiple human resources information systems to generate reports. You will present human resources information to managers and employees.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Distributes and balances assignments among employees to manage workflow. Instructs and trains employees on specific assignments and job techniques to ensure compliance with established procedures and practices. Amends or rejects employees work that does not meet required standards. Interprets and analyzes changes to laws, policy and regulations to provide recommendations to senior managers and guidance to subordinates. Compiles and analyzes data to identify trends, deficiencies and accomplishments related to supported programs. Communicates orally and in writing with managers and external customers or organizations to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
