The Postal regulatory Commission has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly motivated person with empirical skills and interest as a Management Analyst.
Duties
The Management Analyst will:
Provide Director with schedule and coordination support internal and external to the Commission.
On the Director's behalf, facilitate and ensure the successful execution of small- and large-scale meetings with the OBF and with external stakeholders.
Keeps the Director and other OBF managers apprised of the organizational climate, identifies actual or anticipated problems, communicates with managers and provides consultation on matters.
Consults Director of OBF and articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or research/programmatic issues under review and deadline and time frames for completion.
Provides Director with reports, evaluated information, budgetary proposals and similar products necessary for effective direction of administrative operations.
Manage OBF policies, internal controls, and risks.
Review and maintain financial tracking reports, including invoice tracking that directly tie into the overall budget formulation and execution.
Support OBF with process management ensuring systems are established and institutionalized within OBF and throughout the organization as appropriate.
Act as the primary administrator of the OBF on the Director's behalf.
Develops, modifies, revise, and implements procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative operations.
Assures compliance of administrative operations with various requirements and develops strategies for improving administrative functions.
Ensures development of standard operating procedures are in place for all standard, recurring, and ad-hoc tasks.
Approves emergency leave for up to three days; eight hours or less for medical appointments; and/or other types of leave as delegated by the Director.
Requirements
- You will be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
Understanding of policies, internal controls and risk management
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and O365

ETHICS REQUIREMENTS
The Commission is committed to government ethics. As a Commission employee, you will be subject to the Standards of Ethical Conduct for Employees of the Executive Branch and the criminal conflict of interest statutes. Commission employees are also subject to Commission-specific ethics rules (39 C.F.R. subpart A of part 3001 and supplemental standards of ethical conduct [5 C.F.R. part 5601]). The supplemental standards prohibit Commission employees, as well as their spouses and dependent children, from owning any securities issued by entities that are identified on the
Commission's annually published prohibited securities list. As an employee of the Commission, you must complete initial ethics training within three months of your appointment and, depending on your position, complete required financial disclosure forms within 30 days of your appointment.
Education
EDUCATION
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in business discipline.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
