THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for an INFORMATION OPERATIONS INTEGRATION CHIEF (TITLE 5), Position Description Number 02372 and is part of the FL HQ 101 AOG, National Guard.

Duties

As an Information Operations Integration Chief, GS-0301-13, you will manage an information operations integration and combat information cell (CIC) program working broad policies and objectives, and for developing short and long-range plans and projections for all information operations needs. Develop and implement policy and procedures to timely direct requests for information operations. Incumbent acts as the point of contact (POC) for the implementation of policy and procedural matters. Resolve ambiguities and clarify requirements for information operations. Perform such management functions as determining and planning the nature and extent of services required by customers, and planning and coordinating utilization and maintenance of systems and facilities. Evaluate overall effectiveness of information operations integration across the AOC. Initiate changes to improve services or meet new requirements. Determine, formulate, and recommend budgetary, training and organizational requirements, as well as communications support requirements. Coordinates with the 10 Team Chief and AOC leadership to ensure the 10 Integration Team is mission ready and capable of training, mobilizing and supporting Combatant Commander Information operations tasking.

Qualifications

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)", and is open to current on-board (Tenure 1, 2 and 3) US Federal employees interested in helping the Department of the Air Force meet our mission requirements as an Information Operations Integration Chief. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. FLNG BUS Code 8888: This position is "excluded" and ineligible for labor organization representation. NOTE: You must upload your most recent SF 50 (e.g. General Adjustment) to be considered. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-13 Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-12 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
