Duties
As a Supervisory IT Project Manager, you will:
Oversee the portfolio of organizational IT projects.
Provide expert knowledge and support.
Monitor progress and reporting on the portfolio status.
Prepare IT budgets; manage IT investment portfolios; and establish metrics to measure and evaluate systems performance and total cost of ownership.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Serving as an IT program or project manager, on large and multiple IT systems development projects, that involves managing one or more multi-year IT initiatives and ensuring the alignment with critical priorities; AND
Providing specialized technical guidance and solutions to business units relating to current and emerging information technology.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
