You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY POSITION in the Environmental Planning and Conservation Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS. This position is also subject to a Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) and Non-Foreign Post Differential (NFPD) currently set at 12.04% and 12.96%, respectively. COLA and NFPD are subject to change without notice.

Duties

You will be actively involved in the environmental conservation and planning program. You will be the program manager for the Natural and Cultural Resource Program issues in the region and will coordinate the execution of all requirements at both Andersen AFB and Navy Base Guam and throughout CNMI. You will plan work to be accomplished and assign work based on priority, difficulty of assignment and worker's capabilities. You will be responsible for the preparation of management plans for natural and cultural resources. You will develop comprehensive management strategies to address biosecurity processes for the region in coordination with both military installations.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Implementing environmental policy and providing environmental program management support to include environmental compliance, conservation, planning and/or conservation (e.g. hazardous waste, natural and cultural resources, NEPA). Basic Requirements

1. Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.

   OR

2. Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.

Series 1301

Basic Requirements:

1. Degree: physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.

   or

2. Combination of education and experience -- education equivalent to one of the majors shown in A above that included at least 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
