You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Submarine and Maritime Industrial Operations Department within Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).

Duties
You will serve as the Submarines and Maritime Industrial Operations Department's Subject Matter Expert for material and testing requirements, evaluating requirement adherence, operating procedures, material issues, and process improvements.
You will monitor and evaluate the organization's quality assurance compliance through audits, surveys, and meetings.
You will provide audit support by managing the auditor pool and auditing assignments for both internal and external audits.
You will conduct assessments and on-sight checks to ensure program implementation and audit accuracy.
You will coordinate and manage quality assurance projects, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with department programs.
You will plan, assign, and evaluate work performed by subordinates by developing performance standards, adjusting priorities, and giving advice and instruction on both administrative and technical matters.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing requirements, coordinating support, and resolving critical problems for Department of the Navy (DON) quality assurance programs. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Reviewing and evaluating quality assurance and inspection procedures for accuracy and effectiveness; 2) Performing periodic assessments and/or testing to ensure Navy quality controlled products comply with requirements; 3) Managing budget and resources associated with sustaining systems, programs, and projects; 4) Utilizing technical and engineering knowledge to support life-cycle logistics planning, acquisition policies, and program management; 5) Administering, implementing, and determining the impact of program changes and developing alternatives when needed; and 6) Interpreting quality control program directives, instructions, plans, standards, and procedures to evaluate work, material, and methods against these documents.
