About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services and training support.

Duties

Install, align and perform mechanical repair on numerous and complex systems and all equipment and machinery of the activity. Operate a variety of machines to manufacture items unlimited as to size or precision tolerances. Perform weight test duties, filter change, and vibration analysis using XMS software. Ensure safety requirements and housekeeping rules are followed and that personal protective equipment is properly used.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation (Tier 1).
• Employee must undergo and pass pre-appointment physical examination and meet established hearing and vision tests.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) business or travel requirements of 5% of the time.
• This position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment provided by the employer; respirator required.
• This position is subject to call out and after hours duty for equipment failures or required emergency repairs and storm or disaster recovery.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid government driver's license.
