You will serve as a LOGISTICS OFFICER in the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.
Duties
You will supervise personnel within the logistics staff section regarding the command's mission.
You will manage all logistical requirements (transportation of people and things) required to support the organizations lines of effort.
You will manage activities pertaining to property management, supply, procurement and contracting, maintenance, material readiness, logistics planning, and research and development.
You will develop and maintain the command's fiscal year phasing plan which includes the tracking of commitments and obligations.
You will support the development of performance work statements, acquisition strategies, and various types of contractual meetings.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Contracting Officer Representative Level I certification within one year of employment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, managing, integrating, coordinating and evaluating logistical actions such as supply, budget, procurement, or acquisition needs required to support the mission of the organization.
