This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Information Officer, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), DOT. If selected, you will serve as an Operations Support and Budget Specialist in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will be responsible for providing a wide range of enterprise support, services, and tools required to enable PHMSA staff to efficiently and effectively execute mission services.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include:
Experience recommending, evaluating, analyzing, and managing the implementation of a wide range of Information Technology (IT) and information management services.
Experience performing budget execution, tracking status of obligations and expenditures in detail by year, appropriation, and program. Experience providing budget and asset management support services for the organization and maintaining and tracking budget execution performance.
Experience conducting forecast and trend analyses on asset and acquisition data and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and manage the integrity of the organization’s IT assets from acquisition to disposition.
