Duties
You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Office of the Commander, Navy Information Forces, Suffolk, Virginia.
You will develop formatted readiness reports with analyzed information, ad hoc readiness information papers and facts sheets for review.
You will participate in pertinent meetings, conferences, planning and training teams providing understanding and utilization of DRRS-S.
You will conduct detailed analysis to determine if the unit (s) have developed or are developing difficulties.
You will write and coordinate requests for readiness data products.
You will maintain quality control standards for readiness reports received from subordinate units.
You will prepare and present both oral and written briefs on unit's status trends and readiness areas of interest for the Command.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in Defense Readiness Reporting System-Strategic (DRRS-S).
Experience in analyzing data from units administratively subordinate to the command to determine the operational readiness of the Navy command and control (C2).
Experience utilizing the DRRS-S and other reporting tools on conducting analysis.
Experience conducting detailed analysis to determine if subordinate units have developed or are developing difficulties
