You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the RAPID PROTOTYPING/FABRICATION TECH DIV within the UNDERSEA SYSTEM & SUSTAINMENT ENGINEERING DEPT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Duties
You will provide support for planning efforts related to Division monitoring, reporting and taking necessary corrective actions to ensure major production programs finish within established financial and schedule controls.
You will serve as a liaison with the first line supervisors, technical project managers, Branch Heads and divisions on planning and financial issues related to Division projects.
You will orchestrate an ongoing team effort of planning, scheduling, procurement coordination, and problem resolutions as time and changing priorities dictate.
You will advise Logisticians on material requirements and on procurement activities necessary to support production schedule due dates.
You will regularly evaluate and brief internal and external stakeholders Cost, Schedule, and Performance/Quality metrics to ensure that the production plan is realistic and that the Division is within acceptable levels of project performance.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the GS-12:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector creating and reviewing production plans that incorporates material and cost requirements for production maintenance programs.
For the GS-10:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-10) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing assistance in the creation and review of production plans for production maintenance programs.

Education
The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-11:
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
