You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will direct controls the administrative functions of P/R's Security Program on behalf of the Department.
You will implement and enforce the department's Security Program, policies, and procedures.
You will respond to routine and non-technical requests for information such as giving the status of reports, suspense dates for matters requiring compliance, and similar information.
You will serve as Defense Travel Authorized Officer for the Defense Travel System (DTS) overseeing the implementation and sustainment of the DTS certification for all Directorates within P/R.
You will manage various administrative process within the office and ensure the procedures meet office needs and are consistently understood and followed by the staff.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directs and controls the administrative functions of the Security Program on behalf of the Department. Communicates direction and guidance on Security matters. Implement and enforce the security program, policies, and procedures.
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assist sponsors and newcomers during the on-boarding process; tracks inbound and outbound assignments and support sponsors on their responsibilities; direct and control the flow of correspondence and messages, both classified and unclassified into and out of the division.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
