National Defense University (NDU) supports the joint warfighter by providing rigorous Joint Professional Military Education to members of the U.S. Armed Forces and select others in order to develop leaders who have the ability to operate and creatively think in an unpredictable and complex world.
Duties
Support CISA's Associate Dean of Outreach and Strategic Communications and work with other CISA leadership to ensure that research products and publications as well as events/engagements and post to social media channels in a timely manner.
Design and manage web content; serves as a technical expert for designing, monitoring and managing daily web operations and display of content for research products and publications.
Ensures the content on the website or social media platform is appropriate for public distribution and takes steps to correct or remove inappropriate content. Conduct performance assessments.
Provides recommendations to the CISA Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Deans, and Associate Deans on how to implement newest technologies to disseminate CISA research and publications.
Incumbent supports and may be required to give briefings, and/or attend meetings and conferences to convey web and social media activities to internal and external audiences. Performs other duties as assigned.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.
Specialized Experience is defined as experience:
developing and implementing visual programs; and
assisting in the development and delivery of social media content for multiple audiences; and
assisting in the analysis and evaluation of the user experience, interaction trends, and audience reach.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
GS-11 SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M.
