About the Position: This is a Training Operations and Readiness Specialist position with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Peterson Air Force Base, CO, serving as the Chief of the G37 Training and Readiness Section.

Duties
Coordinates directly with U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) to ensure training is in compliance with Joint Training System (JTS) requirements.
Oversees the planning, development, and production of documents and events related to training and readiness.
Directs the compilation of appropriate unit training and readiness statistics and information in order to maintain situational awareness of needs within an organization.
Manages the individual training requirements within the Command IAW AR 350-1 and other related documents for all personnel within the Command to include assigned Army National Guard (ARNG) and Reserve Troop Program Unit (TPU) personnel.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This is a drug testing position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Analyzing unit status reports to ensure the reports for submission are accurate; AND Tracking training requirements for an organization to assist in developing plans to increase unit readiness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).
