Supports the FAA Logistics Center by developing, monitoring, modifying, and implementing custom designed financial and operational databases used to manage projects.

Duties

Supports development of the Division's business plan. Analyzes deviations from planned business results for root causes. Develops information as requested for managers to plan business operations. Coordinates the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements for inclusion in schedules. Adjusts plans and schedules to meet Division requirements for budget, performance, and time. Develops informational reports to support management decisions and analysis.

Requirements

  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-H (GS/FG 12) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G (GS/FG-10/11) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes tracking and analyzing data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; providing guidance to less-experienced professionals in day-to-day operations; identifying, analyzing, and recommending solutions for complex/difficult problems; recommending improvements to systems and processes; develops business plans, reports, and briefings; evaluate operational and financial programs, procedures, and statistical data; efficient with software systems (e.g. excel, financial tracking, etc.); lead and manage projects.ANDQuality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well qualified applicants will have demonstrated the following within their resume:1. Knowledge of logistics financial and operational policies, procedures and processes to include databases specific to FAA (e.g. FAA Division Financial Management Software, RPD Checkbook, Trip-Gen, Universal Service Agreement (USA) / Service Order (SO) programs and processes, and USA Tracking and Billing Database (UTBS)).2. Experience creating complex database queries in order to perform data analyses and manipulations with greater precision and efficiency.
