This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorist and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence Analysis. As a Supervisory It Specialist CUST SPT, you will be a technical authority providing leadership and expert advice on developing and delivering customer support programs that provides the full range of services to systems users throughout the organization.

Duties

Pursuant to 50 USC 3024 (v), and with concurrence and consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, this position is being established in the excepted service as an element of the Intelligence Community within the Department of the Treasury. As a Supervisory It Specialist CUST SPT, you will: Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, trends, and patterns in customer usage, and systemic problems along with Identifying new processes, techniques, and procedures to upgrade and enhance services. Develop measurement tools and tracking systems to insure prompt, effective, and efficient response to user requests. Lead rapid response teams to resolve or mitigate systems and/or equipment failures resulting from emergency situations. Evaluate proposals for the acquisition of IT products or services.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience: -Managing or overseeing the design, development, and implementation of programs related to cyber security compliance within classified networks and systems. AND -Assisting in establishing annual or multi-year work plans and schedules for achieving departmental goals in security oversight for classified networks or systems. AND -Managing, reporting, and analyzing or auditing the lifecycle of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), information systems, and information security assessments. AND -Providing analyses including briefing papers, audit responses, memoranda, weekly activity reports, instructions, plans, or strategic and policy documentation that supports an agency's IT mission, goals, and objectives. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Oral Communication: Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
