You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants, Mission Modules Program Office (PMS 420) (ACAT I) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Duties
You will lead the development, maturation, selection, and transition of reusable USVs for effector and logistics missions.
You will lead contractual efforts, technical requirements development, and transition of capabilities to the fleet.
You will determine appropriate contractual strategies to meet mission requirements in line with industry partner preferences and fleet needs.
You will be responsible for the development of funding strategies and outyear funding requirements.
You will work with USN, USMC, and SOCOM counterparts to ensure readiness, receive assets and with numbered fleet commands to insert payload capabilities to fill a variety of passive/active effector missions (EW, cUAS, cHELO, SS, ASW).
You will work closely with payload lead to ensure readiness of payloads for integration.
You will lead demonstration and test event to mature and verify performance of capability.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-03 (GS-13) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "managing programmatic efforts to support operations of combat ships and weapons systems to meet all identified requirements for performance and operations."
