About the Position: Serves as a concepts development, doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTMLPF-P) integrator for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRN) Fielded Force Integration Directorate (FFID), for U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE), located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Duties
Provides CBRN subject matter expertise for developing, reviewing, and executing policy guidance from local directives to DoD instructions and directives.
Coordinate and synchronize science and technology initiatives, research and development, experimentation and testing, material development, acquisition, organizational structure, warfighting concepts and doctrine (Army, multi- service, and Joint).
Communicating effectively, both written and orally, to include writing and presenting detailed, accurate and comprehensive reports concerning combat developments projects and assignments.
Plan, schedule, and carry out major projects concerned with the analysis and evaluation of programs or organizational effectiveness.
Synchronizes training development with the USACBRNS Director of Training and MEDCOE Director of Training to facilitate realization of capability in the hands of the Soldier.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes supporting the planning, programming, and executing medical CBRN capability development in support of the Department of Defense Chemical Biological Defense Program; experience developing doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, personnel, facilities and policy (DOTMLPF-P) integrator for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRN) Fielded Force Integration Directorate); applying knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes and regulations to commit joint resources to experiments/programs requiring the use of major expenditure and resources; integrating CBRN capabilities across the Warfighting Functions and Chemical and Biological Defense Program ISO CWMD and CBRN Operations; exercising significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other organizations and applying appropriate program evaluation and measurement techniques within the joint experimentation structure. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
