This position is part of the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management - National Energy Technology Laboratory, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of substantive energy programs.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

- Must obtain and maintain appropriate level of Contracting Officer Representative (COR) certification.

Qualifications
GS-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Analyzing/evaluating the effectiveness of an energy program.
Recognizing the pros and cons of alternate solutions.
Interpreting/implementing relevant policies, regulations.
Serving as activity COR for support contracts.
GS-14 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Analyzing/evaluating the effectiveness/efficiency of substantive energy programs.
Identifying the pros and cons of alternate options for recommending solutions.
Interpreting/implementing broad policies, regulations, and/or procedures promulgated by higher authority.
Serving as activity COR for site support contracts to ensure work performed is in accordance with the contract.
Education
There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-13 or GS-14 level.
