Duties
Utilize principles methods for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring and managing projects with resources, to including technical performance readiness.
Identify and analyze problems using sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions while finding alternative solutions to complex problems to make informed decisions.
Demonstrate weapon systems life cycle management concepts used to plan, develop, implement, operate, and maintain information systems.
Manage assignment by ensuring that functional directorates and other supporting organizational elements plan, program, report, and execute their respective supportability elements.
Responsible for the planning, acquisition, and development of aviation and missile systems’ technical publications.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Position requires TDY 25% or more of the time.
- Required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This is an Acquisition Position and requires Level III certification in Acquisition Career Field -Material Maintenance Management - Life Cycle Logistics within 24 months of entry on duty.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:establishing guidance on the acquisition of complete technical logistics data for total weapon systems or subsystems by ensuring that technical publications requirements are addressed at ILS planning meetings; identifying any program shortcomings; investigate the problem, taking appropriate and timely corrective action; while ensuring integrated effort to develop, execute initial and sustaining material and data (publication) base management support for assigned complex weapon systems/equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
