You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT SUPERINTENDENT in the Preservation Shop (Code 970), Procudtion Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

You will analyze, evaluate and adjust shop manpower resources, work operations, equipment, and facilities against current and future scheduled work requirements. You will determine when work is to be accomplished, and the number of personnel required to support the project. You will gather data and analyzes that data to determine the problems in the shop and evaluates the effectiveness of corrective action You will prepare and submit proposed budgets for future fiscal year demands based on projected workload. You will carry out EEO policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance.
