Located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Travel Services Division, Temporary Duty Services Branch. As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will supervise Financial Systems Analysts, Accountants, Lead Technicians, Technicians, and Office Automation Assistants, who provide services to ARC temporary duty (TDY) travel customers.
Duties
As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will:
Be responsible for administering ARC's automated travel system used to prepare, route, and approve travel authorizations and vouchers in accordance with agency and federal travel policies and to interface the authorizations and vouchers to the accounting system to obligate and disburse funds.
Work with the various mandated Government travel system programs and associated vendors for TDY travel such as travel management centers, travel charge card vendors, or Government sponsored airfare, lodging, and car rental programs.
Participate in conferences, projects, and training seminars in ARC, Treasury, and other agencies concerning proposals, revisions, and new or changed requirements that affect operations and assesses their actual or potential effectiveness in achieving desired objectives.
Serve as technical advisor to the Branch Manager and other management officials on matters that involve our customers, federal travel and the composition, requirements, and operation of related travel systems.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following:
- adapting analytical techniques such as researching, documenting, observing operations to develop detailed procedures; AND
- providing advice and guidance to external customers; AND
- troubleshooting and resolving problems within a travel system, charge card system, or accounting system..
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
