The position is located within the ATO, Mission Support Services, Business Intelligence Team in Western Service Center (AJV-W000). The Management and Program Analyst will serve as a Data Analyst providing a range of analytical support.

Duties

The employee will perform a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments under the general guidance of the Team Manager or more experienced analyst. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/ programs within defined areas of responsibility. The Analyst will collect and analyze data to assist more experience analysts in the preparation of reports, dashboards, charts, graphs, and Power Point presentations for both internal and external management review. Use a variety of automated software programs, such as the Microsoft Tools and other spreadsheet, graphics and word processing programs to collect and analyze data. Assist with analytical support for assignments, or ongoing projects, assists senior analysts in consolidating data to prepare reports, and review and analyze dashboard/program activities.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Interviews may be conducted.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the G Band, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F, FG/GS-5-9 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: Experience collecting and analyzing data for the preparation of reports, dashboards, charts, graphs, and Power Point presentations for both internal and external management review. Experience using a variety of office automation software to compile information for reporting and/or presenting.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully. Education

EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION: Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree in an accredited college or university. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
