About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama, just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.
Duties
Works under supervision of the Director of Production Management, who outlines areas of responsibility and mission objectives.
Responsible for management of a complex of facilities, methods and procedures to receive, store, maintain, distribute, and manage the flow of material between the point of Government acceptance to the point of issue to the production floor.
Performs strategic and long-range planning on phases of supply operations including facility, supply processes, and organization.
Participates with chiefs, or other activities to negotiate, decide on, and coordinate work-related changes affecting other activities.
Conducts comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of program goals and objectives in terms of mission accomplishment, quality and quantity of standards, procedural, policy, regulatory compliance, and technical competence.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450.

Specialize Experience: One year of specialist experience which includes: managing documentation that supports the fielding process to completion including but not limited to Memorandum of Notification, Materiel Fielding Plan, Mission Support Plan, Materiel Requirements List and Materiel Fielding Agreement; advising external personnel on fielding and supply related matters; AND operating as Subject Matter Expert in Army Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to perform, manage and track supply and fielding transactions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12
