About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, Alabama just off interstate 20. The depot is the largest Employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Serves as the General Supply Specialist and Property Book Team Leader Ensure the update and currency of hand receipts and audit trail records for all accountable property and reconciles hand receipts with the property book. Identify difficult technical items and instruct supply personnel on how to identify and catalog items properly. Review purchase requirements and ensure that all accountable property is recorded in the property management system. Serve as installation Property Book Officer utilizing the Accountable Property Book System of Record
