This is a supervisory, non-bargaining unit position.
Duties
The position serves as a Supervisory Library Technician in the Digital Support Services (DSS) Section, Collections Digitization Division (CDD), Digital Services Directorate (DSD), Discovery & Preservation Services (DPS), within the Library Collections Services Group (LCSG) at the Library of Congress (LC) and reports to a Section Head in CDD. CDD provides leadership, support, and coordination for the digitization of the Library’s collections. The division’s activities include direct digitization of collections, execution of digitization contracts, formulation and dissemination of digitization specifications, analysis and development of workflow processes that help improve digitization efficiency and standards, and the analysis and reformatting of endangered Library materials.

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.
