You will serve as a Special Security Officer (SSO) in the Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Elevent, (CPRW-11), of COMPATWING ELEVEN.
Duties
You will advise the Commodore, Commanding Officers, Officers-in-Charge, and Wing Staff to include subordinate activities on all security matters.
You will provide all aspects of leadership, training, and guidance to personnel assigned to the Security Office.
You will write and refine local policies and procedures for all matters under CPRW-11 SSO purview in accordance with DoD and Navy directives.
You will prepare Construction Security Plans to include required accreditation documentation to include photographic records of pertinent areas of security as identified in ICD 705.
You will be responsible for ensuring security checks are performed on construction personnel in cooperation with Base Security.
You will ensure all aspects of the SCI Personnel Security Program are executed, to include, but not limited to, nomination interviews.
You will conduct of SCI security indoctrinations, briefings, and debriefings; execute and maintain SCI Non-Disclosure Statements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
You will oversee CPRW-11 SCIF spaces to ensure proper SCI storage is IAW DoD and DoN Instructions.
You will manage the control, transmittal, transportation, packaging, safeguarding, and destruction of SCI material in accordance with regulations.
You will oversee and advise investigations of all unauthorized disclosures of SCI information.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Extensive knowledge of the operations of the National Intelligence Community and its relationship with the SCI programs within DoD.
Knowledge of these operations and programs enables the SSM to function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding SCI operations.
Experience and mastery of DIA and Navy SCI security procedures, requirements, policies, guidelines, and directives related to the management and security of these programs to allow the incumbent to serve as the technical authority for the command.
Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Navy Personnel Security Program Regulations pertaining to requesting, granting, and administering SCI eligibility and access in order to enable the incumbent to properly administer the personnel security program. In-depth knowledge of the Navy Information Security Program Regulations pertaining to access, handling, and safeguarding of all SCI material and information in order to properly protect SCI material.
Experience and excellent customer service skills, responding quickly to telephone or email requests, providing feedback, and responding within reasonable timelines.
Familiarity with the general service (GENSER) classified information and material handling program and requirements to ensure CSM knows how to properly handle all "collateral"
information.
