About the Position: Serve as a Supply Systems Analyst for the Material Management Department at Naval Health Clinic Annapolis, and for five additional Branch Health Clinics (BHCs) located at; Bancroft Hall, United States Naval Academy, Earle, NJ, Lakehurst, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Duties
Serve as the sole Administrator for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS).
Conduct training for all DMLSS users in classroom setting or one-on-one.
Disseminate information and regulations affecting the entire system.
Monitor the validity of automated data to include receipt, issue and adjustment transaction data entries against input documentation.
Responsible for managing over 40 DMLSS user's customer catalogs.
Serve as the acceptor for invoices submitted via the Wide Area Work Flow (WA WF) system.
Serve as an Approving Official for the Command's Government Purchase Card Program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 3 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

To qualify at the GS-7 level you must meet one of the following:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) placing orders for medical supplies and/or equipment, 2.) utilizing computer systems to monitor, and 3.) update supply data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
OR
Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
To qualify at the GS-9 level you must meet one of the following:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) placing orders for medical supplies and/or equipment 2.) initiating contracts and/or negotiating prices with medical supply vendors; 3.) utilizing computer systems to monitor, and 4.) retrieving supply data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Masters or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Management. OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

GS-09 Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
